Office Assistant

This position will assist in supporting the Company Owner and Service Engineer Team, while working closely with the Office Manager to ensure efficient operation of the office. Job duties consist of a wide variety of tasks including answering phone, setting up new customer profiles, scheduling service calls, issuing purchase orders to vendors, assisting in new hire process. Additional duties consist of filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, periodic review of supply inventory and calls for repairs when needed. Applicants must have experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and preferably QuickBooks Online. Candidate must exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, and e-mail, be reliable, detailed oriented, able to work independently, and understand confidentiality. Work hours are Monday through Friday; 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years office experience with a background supporting management 1+ year of customer service experience preferred Excellent telephone and communication skills Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail Good work ethic and ability to learn at rapid speed Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat & QuickBooks (preferable) Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
